Learn2PlayGuitars Launches New Guitar Lessons Portal

Learn2PlayGuitars has launched a brand new guitar lessons portal to help, encourage and inspire beginner and intermediate guitar students. The new addition to the site will help students overcome common hurdles to learning guitar.

The recent popularity of the guitar over other instruments can be attributed to the versatility and range of the instrument.  Many want to play an instrument simply for the mental health benefits and 78% of Americans feel that learning an instrument helps students perform better in other subjects (Gallup Poll, “American Attitudes Toward Music,” 2003). In an attempt to encourage beginner guitarists, Learn2PlayGuitars has launched a new online guitar lesson portal.

The goal of the online guitar portal is to connect aspiring guitarists with the best guitar lessons for their particular learning style.  Joshua at Learn2PlayGuitars explained the new addition saying “The biggest shortcut in learning any instrument is to find the right lessons.  We think we have significantly reduced some of the hurdles that often keep people from pursuing their musical goals”.

We want to encourage and help as many guitar students as possible and especially let them know that you do not have to become a professional musician to benefit from learning this amazing instrument.

The Learn2PlayGuitars site takes you step by step through finding the most fun and rewarding lessons for you based on your age, music style that you would like to learn and your learning style.  “If you are not having fun and playing songs you enjoy then you are much less likely to stay motivated and achieve your goals.  Our aim is to guide musicians to new techniques and skills in a way that they are always hungry to learn even more” Joshua continued.

We found Learn2PlayGuitars to be well suited for beginners or immediate players looking to further their guitar shredding skills.  The first lesson formats covered are the online lessons at learn2playguitars .  From this page musicians are directed to several resources on the web based on current skill level and preferences.  These online lessons tend to be very accessible since they can be viewed from desktop computers, laptops, tablets and even smart phones.  Special features include customizable lesson players and online learning games.

If practicing guitar in front of a computer is less than ideal, there are other options presented as well.  For example the learn guitar DVD options at their site  include several high quality and professionally led courses.  Joshua explained that this is a popular way among students to begin learning due to the added ability to re-watch portions of each lesson until the skills presented have been mastered.  Also, being able to practice on your own time and anywhere with a DVD player can make this a convenient choice.

Joshua concluded “We want to encourage and help as many guitar students as possible and especially let them know that you do not have to become a professional musician to benefit from learning this amazing instrument.  That is ultimately why we created the guides.  We hope to hear many positive stories from youth and even retirees of how playing guitar has changed lives.”
